If you are a politics junkie like me or just a regular follower of news you will always try to find easier ways to access news networks. I watch a variety of channels and on different times, I watch CNN, Aljazeera English, Aljazeera Arabic, BBC World, France 24, MSNBC, Sky News, Alarabiya, and only for laughs I watch FOX News. For a while I used to use P2P programs such as TVU Networks, SOPCast, PPLIVE, PPMate and PPStream to watch various of news channels. Lately I am using LiveStation to watch some News channels, LiveStation provide high quality streaming of a number of news channels and radio news channels too.
For the time being LiveStation provides the following channels:
Some channels might not be available in your location, for example in my location “UAE” the “iTELE” channel is not available, but I guess most of them would be available. The streaming is fast and in great high quality and easy to switch between channels.
LiveStation also allows users to add channels in the website by adding the streaming URL of the channel. You also can add “user added” channels to your LiveStation channels list. Until writing this post 579 channels were added by users, you will find some of those really useful but some might not be in a good video quality like the channels officially provided by LiveStation.
Few days ago I wrote a post on how to watch Euro 2008 online for free, using some P2P applications and by visiting couple of websites for channels links. Well I also realized couple of days ago that Justin.TV the website that gives you the ability to broadcast an online channel using your webcam or any other sources, I found that people who got Aljazeera Sports Channels or any other channels who do show Euro 2008 are actually broadcasting the matches on Justin.TV, and some of those channels are broadcasting on good quality.
You can always find the best channels before the start of the match by few minutes, you can sort by number of viewers, those channels who disable the chat have the best video quality, this is depending on my experience. You can search for channels and their schedules, you can even watch what they broadcasted before, Justing.TV keeps archives of all the broadcasts until the owner deletes them.
I never thought that I needed to talk about this, thinking from my side that everybody knows about it, but it seems that many many many people do not have any idea about it. Its the channel streaming over P2P, there are many applications now that provide the streaming of many channels. Sports, Entertainment, News, Cartoons, everything.
The most famous clients out there now are both SOPCAST and TVU Networks. There are others such as PPLIVE, PPMATE, PPSTREAM and others. All what you need to do is just download any of those clients and start watching.
If you were not able to find a channel to watch on any of those clients, which is very very rare, but if that happens, or you simply do not want to waste your time looking for the channels, you can always check two great guides for watching sports over P2P.
There is LiveFooty and MyP2P, LiveFooty is more straightforward, but MyP2P has a larger collection of channels and many sports other than just soccer. So stop feeling sorry for yourself and enjoy the Euro 2008 matches ONLINE for FREE
Again this method is preferred if you can’t get the Aljazeera Sports Channels subscription. Because watching it on Aljazeera has its own taste, their coverage is really nice. I am a subscriber and I know.
