Move your mouse with the keyboard

This is a built in feature in windows were you can use the num-pad to precisely move your mouse, this is very much needed in graphic design and some other various situations, this feature is called MouseKeys and can be found in the accessibility controls. You can also use hotkeys to switch this feature on and off.

Vista: 1. Control Panel -> type “MouseKeys” into the search box. Click on the option that says “Move the pointer with the keypad using MouseKeys”. 2. Check the corresponding box to turn on “MouseKeys”. For advanced options click “Set up MouseKeys” located underneath the checkbox.

XP: 1. Control Panel -> Accessibility Options. 2. Select “Mouse” tab -> check the “Use MouseKeys” box to turn the feature on. For advanced options click “Settings”.
