I thought, like others, that Bab El 7ara Part 3 or Season 3 like some likes to call it, is the last one and the door will get closed. But those behind the series finds a great opportunity especially that the viewership of the third season did not decline, so now they have decided to produce two new seasons to be aired in 2009 and 2010. What does the director Bassam Al Mulla wants exactly, he wants us to see the grand grand sons of the series characters?
Bab El 7ara is getting more than it deserves, those who used to say that they wont watch the 3rd part because of 3abbas El Noori are actually watching, they want to know what happens to the other characters. If this goes on we could end up seeing Bab El7ara 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 and 10, Until we reach to the current time. How long will they stretch this, I don’t blame them they found the chicken which will lay golden eggs.

Update: 11th of September 2008: Bab Al-Hara gets a fourth and fifth Season.
Update: I will try my best to show Bab El7ara here.. I had couple of problems the past 5 days, will be blogging soon. MBC changed the Schedule to 11:00pm Dubai time. thats 7:00pm GMT. More to come soon.
Everybody is waiting for Bab El 7ara 3, after two successful seasons in Ramadan 2006 and 2007 MBC saw an opportunity and jumped on it. They quickly struck a deal with the producer and director of the Syrian TV drama series and even before airing the last few episodes they announced Bab El7ara 3, and quickly created promos featuring the two stars of the series. But later everybody started loosing faith in the success of the 3rd season after it was officially announced on AlArabiya channel that one of those two stars "Abbas El Noori" was not going to be in the 3rd season and his character will die on the first minute of the first episode. Fans of the show got mad and bombarded all Arabic forums showing their anger on the decision which is believed to be taken by the director although he says it was the writer’s decision.
By the end of July 2008 new teasers of Bab El 7ara started showing on MBC and by mid August longer promos aired. Those fans who did not believe the news that "Abu Essam" the character of "Abbas Elnoori" got a clear confirmation that his character is dead.
Here are ALL Promo’s that aired on MBC starting from the oldest ad to the latest one:

I love comedy shows, who doesn’t, and believe me I love Ikbis too, I am actually an Ikbis user, and I do find their contest ideas interesting, Airplane Contest Singing Contest and so on. They even have a new contest choosing the best of your uploaded images to be hanged on their wall, you might end up getting an Ikbis mug, I know its not much but still new and nice way to engage the users. They are trying to build an interactive community, so that is great.
Their latest “thing” is a new Comedy show named “Ground Zero”, Only 2 episodes have been released til now, and more to come for sure. They are very short episodes, each episode has 3 segments, Movie Dubbing, Lost in Translation and Coming Soon Movies. The show has some other tiny segments, such as the intro and the end bits. I will be a liar if I say I didn’t laugh, I did laugh but I think, and after watching both episodes, the only “FUNNY” part of the show is the “Doblage” Movies Dubbing segment.
The other segments are simply NOT FUNNY, the intro is ok the Movie Dubbing is Hilarious, the Lost in Translation segment were they translate English sentences or proverbs into Arabic which could sound funny is not really funny, but the really really REALLY annoying segment is the last one where a pirate appears and start speaking in English and tries to crack a joke or two and then they show a movie’s trailer, that I can easily say is not funny and even ANNOYING.
The two guys, Mike V.Derderian and Mohammad Jaradat are talented, and I see potential in the show, and it might end up to be a net sensation, but they really need to reorganize their show, cancel segments and add new segments. The possibilities are endless here.
Here are both Episodes…

Today the 15th of May is the Nakba day, today is the 60th year of the Nakba, for those who do not know Nakba means “The Catastrophe”. On the 15th of May 1948, 60 years ago, Israel which was a newly created state committed ethnic
cleansing in Palestine, destroyed hundreds of villages and exiled hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. Now those refugees are in millions and Israel still deny them their right of return. They are the oldest and largest refugee population who are still waiting a resolution.
I didn’t live it, my father did not live it, we both heard of it, we both listened to thousands of stories, and saw many many documentaries but we could not describe how it was or what it felt like. Actually my father experienced another big event in Palestine, it happened in 1967 and it is called Al-Naksa which means “The Setback”, its the six days war, its when Israel occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza strip.
Now, I am 32 years old and lived in Dubai all my life, but since I was young and still until today my father keeps reminding us of Palestine, keeps telling me how people used to be, how neighbors used to act, and how that everybody always found happiness in the middle of darkness, pain and suffering. How people helped each other and how people generally used to be nice and kind, he didn’t say that there were no bad people, we are still on earth but he always said that majority of people used to be nicer more caring and more respectful than now, people back then understood the real meaning of things, they understood the real meaning of friendships the real meaning of family, people will always help each other always.
He always tells me how things were simpler back then, how people’s needs were so basic, but he also tells me how his father used to work so hard, how all men had to work hard to bring food on the table, but the story that I guess is imprinted in his mind and he will never ever forget is his story on how when he was 16 years old he woke up on the summer of 1967 finding himself in a ghost neighborhood, all his neighbors are not in their homes, empty homes, empty village.
His father was on a business trip and was not in the house, so he took his six years old little brother and ran to find others running too, it was quickly understood what was happening, he kept running until he reached a farms area and there the Israeli planes started bombing, so he started seeing dead bodies on the way and people dying in front of his and his little brother’s eyes, he keeps telling me how lucky they were that they were between hits, while they were running the Israeli aircrafts would fly low and hit and fly up again and so on all the way until they reached a high fence, he quickly threw his brother, yes he physically threw him to the other side and then he climbed and went to the other side himself. Still they had to keep walking, not only them but a huge number of people they walked and walked seeing people crying, shouting, injured, and dead. He saw a father with his kids crying over the body of the mother, he heard people crying asking for help, he saw women mourning their husbands, sons, and daughters.
His little brother is tired, he carried him, and kept walking, carefully moving, until after hours they reached the Jordanian borders and after passing the border and on his way to Amman he suddenly saw his uncle driving a truck, so he drove them to Amman to meet with his father later that day.
I always have asked him to write his experience, he keeps telling me “There are no words to describe it, as much as you try, there are simply no words”.
So in the end I would like to say one thing more, Israel thinks that we will forget, that time will make us believe the lie that is Israel. We all say no, we will never forget, and those are not just words, those are facts, we never forgot, and we will never forget, Israel might fool mislead misinformed Americans and Europeans, but not us. We have the history, generation after generation we will talk and we will tell, our brothers and sisters, our sons and daughters, WE WILL TELL.
Palestine I never saw you, but my heart beats for you, you are the reason, you are the dream, and I will see you, this darkness will go and this sadness I feel will leave and I will see you LIBERATED soon.

A new initiative is gaining support in Israel, when you read it you just laugh and feel sad for whoever came up with this supposedly INITIATIVE. Every time there is slight possibility that maybe, just maybe , there might be a new solution for the Palestinian/Israeli situation, the fear starts crawling into those Israeli’s in a huge way.
Even if they are sure 100% that those so-called summits, such as Annapolis summit, are just full of bullshit and just PR parties. Nothing good comes out of it for anybody anyway. But still every time someone comes up with a ridiculous solution, that he knows would never be implemented, just to disrupt whatever is supposedly being done to come up with some logical solution.
The latest genius that came up with this new initiative is Knesset member Benny Elon. His super clever plan is the following. The UN Refugee Camps are dismantled and the refugees are given rehabilitation packages and the option of moving to outside participating countries, where agencies would work to help with resettlement, employment and housing solutions.
Read more after the jump… really crazy plan…
Refugee’s who wish to stay in the West Bank are given the Jordanian nationality, and can stay in the territory “controlled by Israel” while the Jordanian Kingdom would be their home country.
No more Abbas administration, there would be no more Palestinian Authority and weapons will be collected from militias. He says billions of dollars is being splashed yearly on finding a solution for the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. So those billions would be spent to dismantle the camps and help the refugee’s get rehabilitation and move to other countries.
He is depending on a 2004 survey that states that about 50 percent of Palestinian society would not rule out the option of permanently moving to another country if they had the ability and means to relocate.
I would like to give Benny Elon some really bad news, there is no Palestinian on this EARTH who would leave their land for any kind of shiny offers. They will never leave their land for you. Don’t even dream about it. The kind of transfers that happened in the old days will never happen again. Whatever Israel do, shoot them, bomb them, kill them in any way, they will never leave their country, they will never leave their land, they will never give the chance to you to call PALESTINE “israel”. The days will pass, the years will pass, and Palestinians will stay Palestinians and Palestine will stay Palestine, you cant erase their identity, whatever and however you try.

Every human who speaks Arabic on this earth watches this program on Dubai TV, “Qalam Rasas” which means “Pencil”. The meaning is way far than it seems, the show is created and presented by Hamdy Qandeel, a very famous Egyptian journalist.
Every week he gives us the best of what has been said or discussed in newspapers, he does it in a very special way and tone were nobody can do it as good as him. Usually he has a segment called “Aqwal Ma’thora” which nearly means “Famous Quotes”, this segment comes in the end of the episode and it is normally around 5 minutes.
Although I applaud Dubai TV for giving Hamdy Qandeel a huge amount of freedom of speech that he was never given before on any other channel he worked in. But I was amazed that Dubai TV removes the last segment of the show in repeats?! Why would the channel do this?! I really do not think it is with the intend of censoring, i believe it is time managing. So I ask Dubai TV to please change the time slot of the repeat if it is going to cost the deletion of one of the most famous segments on the program.

Al Ahly rock in the backline was loaned to Alseleya Club in Qatar, the defender will be playing for them from January 2008 to the end of the season. Although Al-Ahly havent announced any information on the price, but it has been known that the club offered 180 thousand dollars to loan the player.
To be honest as an Ahly fan i just don’t understand what the board is trying to achieve this season, or actually are they trying to achieve anything. Selling Mohammed Shawqy earlier this season to Middlesbrough in the english league and now loaning Gom3a to Alseleyea. These are big mistakes everybody knows that Al-Ahly has suffered from selling their star defensive midfielder and now loaning their only real rock in the backline.
My Advice to Al-Ahly board is one thing, go buy players, we need at least 3 new players and you know it, we need a striker and a defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder. Abu treka had enough already, the man is overloaded, we always expect him to be 100% ready in each and every freakin match. He is not a machine you know he is a human and the day will come when he just wont be able to take it anymore. And that day is not at all far.
Al-Ahly board, spend from some of the profits you got, you have the money, stop being greedy and buy new player before its too late.

Hi. I debated the issue of creating a blog between me and myself for a long time now. I kept saying to myself one thing, whats new that i can offer in this vast blogosphere?
I realized later that I can only answer this question by going through the experience. So here I start.
Ok. Here how it goes. I surf the net for at least 16 hours daily. I read tech news, sports news, read all sorts of blogs, follow politics all around the world, watch allot of TV, watch allot of movies and play games.
Oh and i want to press on one thing, i watch alllllot of football. Not American football, football who some people might call it soccer.
I am a fan of Arsenal, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Alahly(Egypt).
So as you can see I watch allllllot of football.
Alright then, the only remaining thing that you should know about me now is
that my name is Ibrahim Hussein, and that i am Jordanian from Palestinian roots and that i live in dubai - United Arab Emirates.
Looking forward to fill this blog with allot of useful and good quality posts.
