  Hey thanks for that info thats really good news but can u tell me if al jazeera has any plans to show the champions league in english and also other cups like the carling and FA cups in english coz as u mite have understood i do not understand arabic and want to watch all these sports with english commentary. so any idea on that thanx for the info. Yeah its also good they took the rights i cancelled ART and put showtime last year coz of the premier league

  At last some sence and respect for arabs after the ART was robbing us. I am from Lebanon Middle East, I want to watch Champions Leauge, but i must get ART => If I want it original i must pay about 750$ for the DISH - RECEIVER - ART. I wanted to buy the sport pakage only but it was impossible. I had to pay 210$ and I got the sport pakage and other channels that i don’t want like the arab movioes and some other channels. but now i say to hell to ART welcome JAZEERA. HOPE YOU TAKE WORLD CUP 2010 FROM THEIR THOROATS TOO.

  I am writing you from Ethiopia. I have been subscribing to AlJazeera Sports for 3 years and happy to watch especially soccer games.

  And now I am observing that football commentaries are being aired in English languages. I don’t have words to express my pleasure. BRAVO Aljazeera Sport channel organizers.

  Yes i have heard that english commentary will be provided for champions league..they are working on it right now..they have already started providing english commentary for some of the italian and spanish games

  i am very happy to learn tha aljazeera has the exclusive right for the uefa champions league, but i would want to know if the right covers the next champions league which would start in august 2008 cause i am made to understand tht it is for 2009/2012 seasons thank you

  Who ever wants to watch Euro 2008 in the middle east should get Aljazeer Sports +1 +2 +3

  The official price is 40 dollars but it is being sold for much much more, i got mine for 250 dirhams, a friend got it yesterday for around 400 dirhams….

  Jajabanks there is no specific setting, did you get the card or the cam?

  I bought the card and as soon as i entered it in the receiver it worked, when i tried using my old cam it did not work.

  We are trying to call el jazira sport for more than 3 days now always busy for mor than 6 hours it is inpossible because we already paid the fees to be one of wljezira sport user but it is inpossible to reach them by phone there must be another way to give them the receipt number and to transfer the sport to us on our ART mode.
  if you dont have a ability to grow dont grow wthout preparing yourself.

  our ART code number XXXXXXXXXXX and the receipt number that we paid in the CIB no XXXXXX, it will be a great if this enought to complete the sport to our modem. sport +1 and +2.

  Salwa I really do not think you posting personal info in my blog will help you in any way. Thats why i replaced your numbers with X’s. That is if you do not mind, if you insist you can repost your comment.

  What I can advice you is try to call a local Euro 2008 provider in your area. In my knowledge in Amsterdam you can watch Euro 2008 on NOS.

  Whatever the situation do not post personal info online like that.

  This season of Champions League will be aired on ART, Aljazeera Sports Channel will only be airing a handful of matches in the qualifying rounds.

  10 channels for aljazeera sport…
  the general derecto of aljazeera “aymane jadah” sport said that they will add 4 Permanent channels and 4 channels additionel during the games. with analysis studios dedicated for the champion..
  aljazeera will keep this right from 2009-2010 and for three seasons.
  about the card price, it may change, but not too much according to ayman jadah.
  English commentary will be for sur.

  It is good news tha Algezira has won the right to broadcast live UEFA games.But will it star from 2008(september UEFA) games or I have to buy ART TV card until the end of 2008.I need a fast response.
  In addition will Algezira broadcast english carlincap and FA Cup live games.
