David Beckham in ARSENAL !?! (Who gives a ….)

Don’t worry, David Beckham is not coming to Arsenal, well he is, but not as a player. Thank God.  Basically he wants to be part of the England team to qualify to Euro 2008, so he needs to train and get fit, and for that he needs a club, and here comes Arsene Wenger to the rescue.

Beckham’s club LA Galaxy refused to loan him to any english club, but accepted him getting the training he needs in england. He will be joining wenger and his squad for training, although watford and tottenham also offered beckham their services.

Anyway I don’t expect England to qualify, they have a match against croatia and even if they win it and russia win israel they are out, and russia will win israel by the way.

The goalkeeper of Israel who is russian born already announced that he wants russia to win and that israel will throw the game.

To be honest, as an arsenal fan, I don’t give a hoot this guy is coming to train in our club, I just don’t know why the news gets hyped up just because  he is doing something, oh beckham did this, oh bekcham did that, as an Arsenal fan i am angry on wenger for giving this guy a chance to do anything, and don’t give me this crap about him having a good influence on our players, thats just BS.

So Beckham is training in Arsenal, yappadooda… We just won the Championship…

Writers Strike, domino effect on TV…

At first I didn’t think the Writers Strike would last long, I expected that the fat cats would cave in to try to avoid losing billions of dollars, at least that’s how i saw it. But it seems that the strike is going to continue and none of them are willing to lean towards any solution.

To be honest at first i didn’t understand what was the issue, and i thought those writers are really greedy, especially after reading some responses from the big guys in the industry, but thanks to a videos posted on youtube by the writers explaining what they are fighting for, I understood the situation and now I know that they are not asking for much.

Here is the video:

Ofcourse this strike is going to have a huge affect on all of your favourite shows, and if it gets longer it seems that networks will start airing more and more reality shows, yes no need for writers, there is even a talk of Big Brother on CBS to start in the Winter for the first time in its history, as you know Big Brother is a summer show. Firefox 3 Addon Fixes Memory Problems

If you are a Firefox user who opens endless amount of tabs, like me, you must have realised how Firefox eats up memory. The reason is that Firefox caches the website you visit for some time to allow smoother navigation between tabs, which leads to more memory usage.

It just takes couple of hours of heavy use of Firfox to start seeing really high usage of memory and processor, which makes it really unbearable and the only way to fix this is to restart firefox which is not easy especially when you are in middle of something important.

Although Mozilla say they are going to try to improve this in Firefox 3, until now (Gran Paradiso Alpha 8) it doesn’t show that its going to fully fix the problem. And here comes a new Add-on only for Firefox 3 from Stuart Parmenter called RAMBack.

RAMBack basically adds an option “Clear Caches” in the tools menu or you can also add a button in the toolbar, when clicked RAMBack will clear most of Firefox caches thereby clearing part of your memory.

Wa2el Gom3a loaned to Alseleya Club in Qatar !!

Al Ahly rock in the backline was loaned to Alseleya Club in Qatar, the defender will be playing for them from January 2008 to the end of the season. Although Al-Ahly havent announced any information on the price, but it has been known that the club offered 180 thousand dollars to loan the player.

To be honest as an Ahly fan i just don’t understand what the board is trying to achieve this season, or actually are they trying to achieve anything. Selling Mohammed Shawqy earlier this season to Middlesbrough in the english league and now loaning Gom3a to Alseleyea. These are big mistakes everybody knows that Al-Ahly has suffered from selling their star defensive midfielder and now loaning their only real rock in the backline.

My Advice to Al-Ahly board is one thing, go buy players, we need at least 3 new players and you know it, we need a striker and a defensive midfielder and an attacking midfielder. Abu treka had enough already, the man is overloaded, we always expect him to be 100% ready in each and every freakin match. He is not a machine you know he is a human and the day will come when he just wont be able to take it anymore. And that day is not at all far.

Al-Ahly board, spend from some of the profits you got, you have the money, stop being greedy and buy new player before its too late.
